An oldie and goodie from years ago.

I have been wandering around my PC and found 'Letter to Parents' all over again. We all had such a good time watching the drama. It really was one of the best family stories most of us had seen. I do wish they would play it again. They are repeating so many dramas that are recently shown so this would be a real refreshment to see again.

Re:

They've been showing some older dramas on TV (repeats of Scholar Who Walks At Night, for one). I wish they'd go way back and do some of the really great oldies. Like Thank You, Last Scandal of My Life, Sons of the Sol Pharmacy House, etc..... emoticon

I would love to see Sons of Sol Pharmacy again and even Full House, with Rain. I've been watching old dramas lately and they're the best.

Re: sO MANY REPEATS

Ihave been wondering about all the repeats we have been getting lately and especially the ones without English subs. I have even watched them on the Chinese channel and found them interesting even tho the dialogue was in Chinese with Chinese actors speaking. The subs were presumable in Korean. I have thought about this and I wonder if the fact that we no longer have so many members writing or discussing dramas that now they are not so anxious about giving us English subs. I hope not. I am sure the fan clubs are checked by the TV stations and they will not keep sending dramas and going to the trouble of having someone do the subs if no-one is discussing at all. also miss the friends who used to write.
This is only my thought about all this and I am probably wrong but you never know .

I should mention that my own responses are far more than the 150 shown here. I used to be 'Brad6' for quite a long time.

Hi Brad6!!! emoticon

I've noticed (and watched) some repeat Kdramas. Most of them weren't worth a re-watch. There were so many good ones in the past and I wish they'd do repeats of those I watch 'almost' anything on Dramacool online when I get a hankering for one of my old favorites. There are some I haven't found there but most are there. Just have to make sure you get the right name (you know how every drama has multiple titles!!).

I had mentioned above that I wish I could re-watch Sons of the Sol Pharmacy House... again, one with more than one title. I did find it finally, as "My Too Perfect Sons". So I've been watching that one again.

I miss everyone on the Board here and suppose everyone has just moved on to other things in their lives. lol

Re: Comments on dramas

 Hi Nelda and Smoochie,

I think we are the only ones who have anything to say about the dramas we watch. At least the Korean ones It makes me sad because other opinions are so interesting and sometimes help to bring out different aspects of a drama.
It is becoming rather hard for me to type these days since my eyesight is slowly going and since I am now almost ninety five years old I think my drama watching days will be fading away. I am still with Korean and Japanese shows however, and enjoy them and really wish I could see what other people think of them.

Re:

That was one of my first & never forgotten K-dramas- Ever since then, I wished our families lived in a courtyard house like those days.
Everyone here -you are all so lovely, I will try to participate more, instead of reading. The group here..always so interesting,& insightful.
