Cloud Atlas
Although it's not technically a CJK Movie, Cloud Atlas opens today (to mixed reviews) in theatres, as an elaborate adaptation of David Mitchell's novel. The Korean connection is that Korean actress Bae Doona is cast in this production.

Looks like an interesting sci-fi tale.

I'm interested in seeing this, probably will wait for DVD or VOD though. I'm curious to hear opinions of people who have seen this on Bae Doona's role in this one.

Thanks for the story link and info. Very nice to see Bae Doona in this different type of a role for a major international movie of this nature.
That story reminded me she was in Host, which is something that was on the fringe of my memory.

I planned on getting to the theatre to see this but it's already gone. I guess I will wait for the DVD release.

The review are in, and while the movie gets mixed reviews, Bae Doona is a solid hit. She plays a very "emotional robot".
