Re:

Last night I tuned in to watch the last half of "Mother's Choice", and I caught a crawl that said that something else was going to be starting next week.

And I'm pretty sure that the didn't say it was going to be "Modern Farmer" like we thought it was going to be!

I really wasn't paying attention, so I'm now going to have to at least watch the beginning of tonight's show to figure out what's going to be on in this time-slot on the 8th of Nov.

Re: K-Drama On Air Schedule in SoCal (Updated November 1, 2014)

Thanks, sherlesin. SBS has always been the most difficult when it comes to knowing which dramas are coming up in the near future. I wish all North American Korean programming would imitate MBC's TV schedule. It's the greatest.

While I have a chance at half-time, did anyone else watch the new Saturday and Sunday night show on KSCI ch 18.2 over the air broadcast of "The Family is coming Back 2". I know nothing about the show, I've never even have heard of "The family is coming back part 1".

But any way It took me awhile to figure out the story but after I sorted out the story I plan to watch the rest of this 20 episode Fam-Com Drama. What I saw last night was fun!

Sorry sherlesin I forget which it is for the UHF Korean programming on Ch 18. The Family is Coming Back is the K-drama that took over for Modern Farmer starting this week. And as with most Korean Fam-Com's it has a very very complicated family structure, it took me having to re-watch it to figure out who's who and the why's!

It started this Sat. and Sun. in the 8:50 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. time-slot this this week of Jan. 31st 2015. And it will be a 20 week series.

What are some of the other Korean programs translated into English?

I am even a minor viewer of Korean programming but once in while there are some shows that will catch my eye, that I regert I could only watch a sliver of it.

With that in mind (and excluding the content from Arirang Ch. 44.5) what are some some of other non-drama shows featured on the Korean channels? Are there any translated programs that feature foreigners?

Wow I just finished watching tonight's premier episode of "Unkind Ladies" on KXLA, it's 24 episodes long. And the episode was great!

Re:

"All About My Mother" I guess just started airing tonight (Sat. Aug. 29th) on KXLA in their old 8:00 to 9:00 P.M. Saturday and Sunday night time-slot. It looks to be a Family Ron-Com so i might give a view.

How long has it been now since KXLA had a weekend K-Drama?

From what I found online it looks to be a 50 episode K-Drama, so I guess that means that it will be around for at least the next 25 weeks!

Too bad KXLA is using pan and scan instead of letterbox!

Cool Lee Sang-Woo from High Society is the male lead!

I just caught the message crawl at the end of tonight's show, starting next week "All About My Mother" will be airing at the 9:40 P.M. series time-slot @ KXLA instead of the Drama that's there now.
