Re: K-Drama: 시티헌터 (City Hunter)

I agree that the twist in storyline about City Hunter being the President's son was unexpected. And right after we, the audience, learned that, the Prez said to him, "You must have [or have had] a wonderful father."
If he only knew. . .
Re the flowered handkerchiefs, in last night's episode, Bio-Mom gave another handkerchief with the same flowered motif to Uncle to give to City Hunter, and Uncle replied that "he [City Hunter] would like that."
I don't know if this is the kind of drama where many of the favorite characters are going to die before the end, but there are so many with an axe over their head that I always feel slightly apprehensive when watching. However, it's getting very close to the end so maybe the good people will have happy endings.

I'm still watching this one, but I've lost a bit of interest. The story hasn't really moved along, at least for me. It's still the same story we had at the beginning. I guess, too, that I haven't become really attached to any of the characters. Not sure why that is. Although I was surprised at myself last night during the fight--I've thought in the past that someone needs to take Lee Jin-pyo out, but then I didn't want him to lose to that sneering hitman! emoticon

If one of the good guys, don't die in the end, I would be surprised and disappointed. The ironic twist of the the City Hunter being the President's son is really a stretch.

The actor playing the City Hunter has really skinny legs which I find rather distracting, besides, I don't really like this show as much of the serious shows I have seen in the past.

The characters while trying to be believable are not. It is not the acting so much as the writing. It should have been a shorter show and more compact to have the tension that it really needs. It can't hold a candle to The Blue House.

Pali... I just laughed out loud over you being distracted by Hunter's skinny legs! I am distracted too... but not by his legs! I don't know why but I'm loving this drama. It's Lee Minho.... that's what it is... skinny legs and all!! lol

City Hunter /Lee Minho should of remained the lost soldiers's son, he gave his life for ruth, justice and the protection of Korea, the twist caught everyone off guard. Not happy! All the other compliance deserved what they got!

Me too...that part of the story totally caught me off guard. It turned out that a coworker of mine let it slipped and I thought she was kidding and misunderstood the drama emoticon. I've been avoiding watching this ahead of what's aired. I will be good and be surprised with you at whatever he ending might be...hehe.

I love the story, the cast, and all the quirkiness of it all <3

If my calculation is correct, "City Hunter" should be ending this week (Thu, 8/25).

Kpop news for the week...from allkpop.com. hopefully this couple will be able to withstand the scrutiny of the media, the public, the crazy schedules and not have the same result as Hyun bin and song hye ko (the couple from "world within").

********
It’s the quickest game of PR see-saw we’ve seen in a while, but it looks like the drama surrounding Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young’s relationship has finally come to an end. Lee Min Ho’s agency, StarHaus Entertainment, has finally confirmed on August 23rd that the two stars are dating!

Representatives from StarHaus Entertainment stated through Star News, “It seems there have been some misunderstandings.” They continued, “We were simply wary about how some media outlets were using the term ‘fervent love’ to describe their relationship.”

“Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young have known each for a while, and they were able to draw strength from each other during their long recordings for ‘City Hunter‘. It is true that these two have developed warm feelings for one another.”

In effect, the representatives are cautiously acknowledging (once again) that Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young are indeed dating. After witnessing the acknowledgment, denial, and now confirmation of the stars’ one-month relationship, fans are now sending the couple their warmest congratulations.

Re: K-Drama: 시티헌터 (City Hunter)

So, did City Hunter and Na Na end up together? When they met at the end Na Na smiled when she saw CH but she was carrying a suitcase and then at the very end he was driving alone in the car. What was implied?

I guess the only way for Steve Lee was to die. Too bad the prosecutor had to die just when him and his ex wife were going to make another go of it.

Heard Lee Minho is willing to do a sequel if it's not really a sequel but has a different story line for CH..

Re: K-Drama: 시티헌터 (City Hunter)

This is the first drama that I cried when the bad guy get shoot at. It was a very well acted.

My take on the ending is that YS and NaNa will eventually be together. I'm assuming that she got back from a trip and he went to greet her at the airport emoticon...or that will be my ending for those two.

A few deleted scenes...I went online to rewatch to make sure I didn't miss anything or if it got edited poorly. All he main scenes were aired.
1. Kiwoong (still do not remember his name in here) was meeting with YS about that political guy that he Prez met to get the vote. He was telling YS about all the corruptions among the smaller group.
2. The Prez's daughter was heartbroken over the prosecutor's death (I was too) and all these hints surrounding her dad. She was pushing for nana's friend and the IT guy to be together.
3. The IT guy confessed his love very nonchalantly

Great drama...great cast. And I will miss the v neck shirt with a coat emoticon
