I'm alone in this but I think Hyejin should get out of her marriage (the sooner the better). Her husband was agreeable to her going away to study but I really do think he fully expected her to come home and be a wife and mother.
I'm really curious how Ujin and Teacher will be able to be together. His mother will have a cow!
Still haven't warmed up to the 3 sons mother/father.Yeah, me too... nsheldon... But, it's fine with me if she goes back to her husband..
Sang woo just needs a friend indeed...
And actually they began a strong bond, starting from the big loan..
Honestly, i've been watching the latest eps.38...

Of all of the dramas running at this time, this is my least favorite. I can't seem to care about any character or their problems. I tape it every weekend and then fast forward through it. The only female in the whole cast that I like is Grandma, so you get the picture. Na Moon He, the actress playing the grandmother, is in a movie released last year called "Harmony." She plays an imprisoned music teacher who killed her abusive husband. She becomes a choir director in prison with her similarly situated fellow inmates.

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
Saw that movie (w/Granny) some time back. I remember the one prisoner had a son (think it was a son) who was adopted out but the new mom brings him to the a performance (away from the prison) that the group was competing in. Sad story.
I watch this one but there are very few characters to warm up to. It does hole my interest but really, the only story that has me wondering is Ujin and Teach. How will they work this out... lol (looking forward to finding out).

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
I won't be able to record and watch tonight's (Sunday night's) episode 28. I'd very much appreciate a summary of tonight's episode to know what I missed out on. Thanks much in advance.

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
I'm not sure why I am watching this drama either. I like the entanglements of the restaurant owner and the hoity toity daughter of the family. I like the Yujin couple. Dont know how they will end up, but maybe they can work it out when they find out they are in love.
I am still firm in my statement that the vice director of the gallery is one amoral human being. She has nothing good about her. The character is not appealing and the actress is not doing a good job for me. Just don't like her and I feel that the character is not solid either. Her husband is becoming a doormat. If he were a real Korean husband he would have put his foot down long ago and she would be back home and being a wife and mother regardless of whether she held a job or not. Sshe just wants to be a career woman and forget her family including her husband and daughter. Not quite a reality in any Korean drama.

Now that Hyejin has been offered the lecturer job she wanted, it could mean she will give up her full time job at the gallery in the future. This would allow her to work less than full time and be able to spend more time with her family, if this is her goal.I do think she wants to be a wife and mother, but on her own terms.

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
Hyejin and Rani seemed to connect when they were walking home from the parent-teacher meeting. Her husband then muddied the water by insisting that Rani bathe with him. Now that her mother is there, Rani should either bathe with her mother or by herself. Once Rani was old enough to stay in the tub alone, the father should have showed how to bathe and left her to her own devices unless she requested help.

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
Mecca, I haven't noticed Sungwu slurring his words in general, though he did at the end of last night's episode because he was drunk.
Deleted Scenes from Ep. 27 - Sat class ul Cheolsu takes Myeonghui out for a jaunt on his scooter, closing down the restaurant. Cheolsuk finds the place closed and gets angry that her brother has gone off somewhere.
Yunhui, feeling twitterpated over Ujin holding her the night before, brings food for him to his office. He isn‛t there, the chubby guy is sleeping on the couch. Not wanting to draw attention to herself liking Ujin, she gives the food to the other guy and leaves. Yunhui drags herself home. Granny notices she is depressed but that‛s as far as it goes, except it seems like Granny gets on her DIL‛s case for not caring about Yunhui.
Ki-chang must be looking for another job. He‛s in an office of some sort being interviewed—it doesn‛t go well. The next scene shows him in a small dressing room with actors putting on make-up... some sort of day work? Ki-chang walks the city, becoming more and more depressed and alone. He stops in a ‛hole-in-the-wall‛ café for a bowl of noodles—which look about as sorry as he does. Meanwhile, across town, Yeonghui is in an upscale restaurant signing and celebrating a $70K contract for writing a mini-series.
Also deleted were some filler scenes of Donghun driving around after having tea with his wife at the gallery. He is becoming more and more upset over the situation in their marriage, and her not wanting him to meet her boss, Sungwu. The end of last night's episode seemed to indicate that Donghun might have put two-and-two together about Hyejin and Sungwu. She keeps saying she will be home early after work, but then it is getting close to midnight and she hasn't shown up again. Where is she? The look on Donghun's face was as if he suddenly realized his wife must be out somewhere with her boss...

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
OMG I cannot believe Sungwu's wife slapped Hyejin. She's a lot bigger than Hyejin so I'm sure it hurt. Apparently the wife doesn't love Sungwu anymore than he loves her but she needs to 'live' with him so her father won't disinherit her. That could be 20 years. He never loved her and they were only together 6 months so I don't blame him for telling her NO.
Hyejin doesn't think she deserved that slap but I thought maybe it would knock some sense into her... but no, guess not, because Sungwu figures out what happened and pulls her in for a hug and she wasn't fighting him off.
Hubby finds out she didn't stay late at the museum. She bought the groceries and left them with a shop owner to rush to Sungwu. She may be kidding herself into believing she went to him because they are 'friends' but she wanted to be with him as much as he wanted her with him. Hubby ends up getting the groceries (Hyejin left) so he knows she was on her way home before being sidetracked. He asks her and she lies (very nervously) and says a painting came in just as she was leaving work so she had to stay and check it in.
I may not think Hyejin and Hubby go together but I really don't like what she's doing to him. Also, regardless of what her and Sungwu end up feeling for one another, Hyejin is basically a good moral person and I think she will end up doing what is best for her husband and daughter.
Ujin and Teacher are my favorite to watch. So silly, but still sweet to see these two falling in love. And Teach's sister and the soup guy... lol Loved how he let her drag him all over to shop. He's very smitten w/her now. I'm not too sure what she feels for him and although I think they will become a couple, I think right now he's just a friend to her. He's gonna get hurt I think.

Re: K-Drama: 사랑을 믿어요 (My Love, My Family)
I really thought Art Director's newly-returned wife was "Sua" (Yu In-Young) back from Likeable You, as only Sua was as haughty and tall like that. But I don't see her listed so I guess it isn't her.
