Is it possible to resuscitate an email once you have deleted it? Does it go forever into a black hole? I am trying to find emails that I sent with a photo attachment. I no longer have thatphoto in my picture file or in my documents. the only way to get it back it by diggin for the emails that I sent.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

I use Mac OS, so it may be different for you if you use Windows and also depends on what email program you use.

You can try the trash to see if the file is still in there, but I think if you already emptied the trash (or maybe you call it recycle bin?)... it may be gone.

(On a Mac) Try the Users > (• your users folder) > Library > Mail folder... there is a deleted mail icon, click on that.

And all your email is probably stored on the email's server, you can maybe try there... I don't know.

Are deleted emails really deleted?

Good Luck.

Re: email

Dear bubu,
Thanks for reply and also the website. I had this new PC built for me so some things are not in because I did not want them. I have loads of hard drive space for all sorts of stuff. I use IE .Outlook Express. Nothing from my email goes to Recycle.Bin. Have no idea where it goes. I am very fussy at totally deleting stuff both from Inmail and Sentmail and then the Deleted listing. I don't know why since I am usually most disorganised. I have a feeling that it has all gone into a black hole. Oh well...
thanks for your info.

Re: email

Peg, is it possible that someone you sent the Kimura photo to might still have it saved?

Re: email

dear nchristi,

Beat you to this thought!! I sent this photo to at least three people. could only remember two. Have had response from one in Canada who is doing a square search tonight. The other was to cousin in UK and she has it but can't figure out how to send it back. I am holding my breath she will get it right next time and won't let it disappear.....!!!

How crazy can an old woman be about a Japanese hunk.
Well I just adore him that's why

Re: email

I am so glad to hear your cousin has a copy! Keeping good thoughts that she will figure out how to transmit it, or save it until she can figure out the process.
 emoticon

Kimura is a precious soul to you and brightens your heart. Nothing wrong with that!

Peggy,
Gosh, I didn't know it was Kimura that was missing! You should have said so in the first place. LOL!
I've put out the word, so don't worry, I'm sure he'll turn up soon! emoticon

Missing person

Bubu and all......

Guess what?
The milk carton missing person did the trick. I just got an email from my cousin in UK with the photoand have it safely in my favourites and in my documents. I am a happy camper.
thanks for all your support in my time of distress........

Now please how can I put the photo on this thread so that you can see I was not making a fuss over nothing???????

Peg :-)
