J-Movie: ゲーム ( G@me )
I didn't see anyone posting about this, so I shall! =O!
Anyway, I recently bought this dvd, via cdjapan.com and just got it yesterday, all I can say, "...Kick ass, man. Kick ass." And the reason for my wanting to buy it anyway, was the casting. Nakama Yukie and Naohito Fujiki. Nakama Yukie does a WONDERFUL performance in this movie...
The basic summary is this, Sakuma ( Fujiki ) works in this company, Cyber Plan, and his recent proposal for.. Mikado Beer ( I'm not.. all that sure ) was shot down by a VP at the company, Katsuragi. Upset, Sakuma drives along the neighborhood, and he comes upon the Katsuragi estate, where he sees a young woman coming out of the Katsuragi home, and Sakuma follows her into this hotel where she, unsucessfully, tries to check in.
Upon confronting her, he learns that her name is Katsuragi Juri ( Yukie ) and that she indeed ran away. Reluctantly, Sakuma invites her to his home, intending for just one night. She agrees, and later that night, she had allready guessed the real reason for him being in the neighborhood of her home, and says to him, "Why don't you kidnap me?"
The basic plan is, to pretend to kidnap Juri and they both collect the ransom money from Juri's father. But, don't think this film is predictable, because believe me it is NOT. Plot twists galore, when you think you have something figured out, you're proved wrong within the next second. I definately reccomend this to any Nakama Yukie fan and... well. Anyone else.
"Game Over."

I want this movie! The cast seems really good - nonetheless, I've heard that YesAsia isn't selling the Limited Edition DVD for too much money.

That's great! 10 dollars cheaper than a CD you can get from Little Tokyo. I will definately buy for my upcoming birthday!
