and for a high school student who just wants SOMETHING to do...you really can't stop the kid. that's why i'm asfreeasthewind. but...if you really, really, really.....want me to 'slow down' my posting...then, whatever you say. (this is probably the reason why i get into trouble..)

Did anyone watch Hey! Hey! Hey! Christmas Special? If so, what is the name of the first group (boy and a girl)? They were really shy; they didn't say much in the interview. I really like what they sang.

Hi, I'm new to the boards, I'm a honmamon fan, so I'll be posting in that thread, but I had a question/favor.
I'm in HS and I entered into the Essay contest that UTB was having. I don't know who else entered, but I'm going to be out tomorrow all day, so I won't get to see the announcment of who wins. Can someone please PM me or post in here the winner? Maybe I won a prize??? That would be cool.

Here in Southern California, UTB will be airing a documentary follow-up titled おきなわ日記〜さとうきび畑で笑った夏〜 on Sun Sep 19, 20:30–21:00.

Yes, KTSF is in Northern California.
More info is at the link. My sense is that the program will involve travelling to the spots in Okinawa that were significant in the movie to see what they look like now.
