Re: リード・オア・ダイ (R.O.D)
Ccwf's reply caught my attention:
OK, on to my comments. First, my style is usually to write something of a cross between a review and liner notes rather than a traditional review. That's because there are already plenty of reviews for most anime out there on the web for people who want reviews. Second, I try not to spoil things for people who haven't seen the show being discussed. That's why, for example, there are lots of screenshots from the early part of the story above and very few from the end.
Thanks for this ccwf. I think that there, especially at a drama discussion forum like ours, needs to be some rules for reviews of an episode - especially at Kdrama, where spoilers are many (then again, all dramas have them, of course). I think that we should make some bottom line rules about reviews based on yours.

I forgot to add that Beethoven's Ninth, known as xml:langja-JP第9 (9th), has become extremely popular in Japan since WWI, performances of The Ninth are now a major Japanese Christmas tradition. Read about how Japan's tradition of Christmas performances of Beethoven's Ninth started.

Just a note on K-dramas. I have not noticed "many" spoilers. In fact, I think it quite the opposite. It is a rare occurrence that somebody posts a spoiler. If it happens, someone else will draw it to the poster's attention. As for reviewing an episode, it is reviewing an episode, not giving spoilers on events yet to come.
I am puzzled at what has given the impression that there are many spoilers in episode reviews.? Perhaps the fact that so many of us are really into these dramas and freely speculate (not in episode reviews) on what we think will happen is being mistaken as "spoilers." The great fun of the K-dramas, in my opinion, is that we have a group of people who freely share all their opinions and experience. As the saying goes, why fix what ain't broke?

Re: リード・オア・ダイ (R.O.D)
Hiroshi, like nchristi, I, too, would like to know what gives the impression that there are lots of spoilers in K'dramas. I, for one, do not know what is happening down the road on these dramas, but if I post my feelings about something, it could hardly be classified as a spoiler. Could it? You know, sometimes we posters are just simply very intuitive. But I guess some people can't accept that. Recently on a diff. website, I posted something, and, lo' and behold, my post was removed (but not before the fans took my info and ran w/it) and it totally ticked me off! I believe it was because my info happened to be right on target and the people thought I must have been a spy, giving out critical info. My info actually appeared a couple of wks before actual act transpired and I presumed that they felt the only way a person could have real knowledge was to be in on the planning. Definitely not the case here. Guess they couldn't believe a person could outhink them. No spoiler . . . just wise! Soooooo, Hiroshi, I am real interested in your comments re spoilers in K-dramas.

Re: リード・オア・ダイ (R.O.D)
Above I noted that its not only the K-Dramas.. its really any type of drama. Usually, when we post reviews... people who haven't seen the drama or who at least missed that episode read enough to infer what occured.
I mean, if we know our post will have enough info to spoil the episode for someone.. we can put a spoiler warning.
Hope I cleared it up.
