Re: Events!
Of course. At all places I have been to, the Asians have been very hospitable and sweet. They are a very hardworking people.

Re: Events!
KBS LA is airing or holding an Korean festival/event of some sort w/ music artists, on the 19th of Sept, 6:50pm...well that's all I could tell from the commercial KBS LA has been airing since yesterday (it's all in Korean).

Re: Events!
September 19th? That's a Sunday. So it is some sort of a festival or is it just a music festival, etc?

Re: Events!
I got SandyP to translate the announcement about the Korean Festival aired on KBS LA:
Korea Day Festival.
KBS LA Music Contest
September 9th. Time: 6:50 pm--Korea Day Festival Special Stage
From KBS LA, California will air the recording/rerun of this show.
There will be good/big gifts. Happy Memories.

Re: Events!
So its not a Korean pop concert/festival, its more of a Korean karaoke concert that will be boradcasted on KSCI? Interesting - thanks for following up, Sandy.

Re: Events!
Yes, it turns out that you can go watch live (or participate, if you'd like) but it will also be broadcast on KSCI, so you can watch it at home either instead of going or after going.

Re: Events!
For clarification purposes, the Korean Day Festival will be aired on KXLA and not on KSCI. Since KBS LA programs only air on KXLA, it would make sense that the festival be aired on the same channel.

Re: Events!
Thank you for clearing that up, Mr. no rest, thanks for pointing that out. I would feel bad if everyone watched it on the wrong channel. :X
