How to use the Spoiler Tab
How to use the Spoiler Tab option
This was being asked in the K-Drama forum, but I didn't know where to put this post. I also made this quickly so it is a little sloppy, but I hope it helps.
I've included screen images to help illustrate the steps as examples.
Step 1: Typing your text after pressing the "Add a reply" link at the bottom of the pages you are posting in.
Step 2: Use your mouse left click button to highlight the text and scroll it to the left to highlight the text you want to make invisible with the spoiler tab.
Step 3: After your selected text (that you typed is highlighted) click or press on the Spoiler Tab (this is shown with an orange circle/ellipse in the image below). You will then see some strange text surround the text you just typed.
Step 4: Click Submit Reply button at the bottom of your text. And the result of the post should look like below, where your text is hidden.

Selecting the text works, too.

Re: Need Help Using the Board?
Thanks for the clarification, ccwf. Since I have Mozilla, I forget that hovering over the spoiler sign doesn't work on all browsers.

Re: Need Help Using the Board?
I have trouble logging out. I've been off the board for two days, and when I came back on, there I was, already logged in. I know I logged out--at least I punched the 'logout' button. What am I doing wrong? Is it because I have dial-up, and I just don't wait long enough before going on to some other url? Thanks.

What am I doing wrong?First, unless you are sharing your computer user account with someone else, it's unnecessary to ever log out. On the other hand, if you are posting from a public computer (library, community center, coffee shop, and so forth), then it's best to logout to be sure others using that computer later can't pretend to be you.
As for how to logout, it is just a matter of clicking on the logout link at the bottom of each page. If you are sure you clicked on that link, maybe you did indeed not wait long enough on your dialup line for the logout request to be processed.

Re: Need Help Using the Board?
ccwf, have any ideas on what the problem is here? I've copied and pasted this post from smoochie1. class blockquote
I've sent PM's before and never had any problem. I click onto the PM space in the post, the screen comes up, I type in the text and hit submit and nothing.
Normally, the text disappears and there's a little line that says your message has been sent or something to that effect, but now nothing. The message just stays on the screen.
Maybe the PM gods think I don't have anything important to say. emoticon
I've tried it again and again in all the different ways and again, nothing. I've even tried the email and, you got it, nothing. It just remains on the screen.
I can reply to a PM, no problem, but can't initiate one.
I should just post and not try anymore fancy stuff. It seems I have no knack for these new-fangled things.
I guess my messaging rights have been taken away.
