When are the where the subchannels and blocks of translated Korean programming?
Excluding the programming of Arirang, what time and what channels feature Korean programming - any kind of programming like variety, drama, news - translated into English?

Re:
Depends on what you use (cable, Direct TV, etc.), if any. I have Time Warner and pay for an extra package to have KBS and MBC. I still don't get SBS. My friend just has regular TV and uses a converter box and actually gets all that I get except some of hers only come on in the evening. Think it also depends on your location as to what's available to you and times, channel you can get.
Since I have Time Warner I get pretty much Korean programming all the time. Some are not subbed but many of the variety shows are and even Korean news shows have some subbed programs. I've even had some Korean dramas that were not subbed but most of KBS, SBS and MBC dramas are.

I am over-the-air viewer and every once a while I do happen upon some translated Korean drama or what seems like a variety show. With that mind, what are some of the programming blocks that feature English subtitles?

Re: When are the where the subchannels and blocks of translated Korean programming?
LA18.1 — SBS still has a block of time in the evenings ~8-11p (more or less). Some of the dramas have e-subs; other programming does not.
LA18.2 — The old UTB has now been taken over completely by SBS Korean programming. I believe it is 24hrs. Some programs are e-subbed; others are not.
LA18.3 — MBC's Digital station (MBCD). Again, some dramas are e-subbed and others aren't. However, MBC has a great on-line schedule that shows what is—or is not—subtitled in English.
When on the MBC homepage, look to your right and click on the yellow and black square labeled MBCD. You can look at the current week, and they also keep their past schedules, too.

Re:
I have SBS, MBC and KBS through my cable company, which I pay for. Recently SBS has stopped subbing dramas in my area MBC stopped subbing a while ago. The only station that still has subtitles is KBS. I'm very disappointed by this and have no idea what to do. It's very upsetting. Anybody?
