The story is too spread out. It's taking too long for the mystery of Sunsin's father, and I think this young singer is also in a role that is too much for her. She is just too calm and without any great emotions or enthusiasm. I was trying to imagine being in a scene with her. That poor young man who is the CEO must be worn out trying to match up with her slow process now and then. The overpowering emotions are coming from the senior actors it seems. However, like you nsheldon...I am watching most of the time.!!!!!

Re:

Sunsin's mother paid back the contract fee, thus releasing her, then agreed to one month more that Sunsin could continue--and that month is now over. So there is no more obligation on Sunsin's part. Except that Junho and the Restaurant Manager (love him!) would like to have her continue. As would Sunsin herself.

The only other adult male who seems to have an interest in the actress Mireyong/Sunsin relationship is Reporter Park. I've wondered why is he so interested in the case? He's too young to be Sunsin's father but could he be a biological brother from the "family who could harm Mireyong." ??? Maybe there's an extortion plot in the works somewhere.

Sunsin's bio father certainly couldn't be the husband of the chicken restaurant owner, could he? I really don't think so. Mireyong's manager?--oh heavens no!!Otherwise, so far, there are no other adult males in the picture as far as I am aware.

The person I cannot stand is Yeona, the younger actress who calls Mireyong "mom."
So phony.

I know Yeona had pulled some petty c**p on Sunsin, but bio-mommy Song was even worse in my book ( before their connection was realized ). I know I'm going to love it when Song will later have to crawl to apologize to Sunsin and her family for her past bad acts.

I do believe Yeona does love Miryeong as a mom ... because she has no other family. However, she's still a piece of work! And really, she's better suited to be Miryeong's daughter than Sunsin is. Sunsin is honest, sweet, kind and... well, everything the other two are not!

I wonder if they'll drag some guy in the story later that will be the bio dad of Sunsin. We know it's not the dad she always knew and no... believe me, it's not the chicken man.. lol

Watch how many times (almost every episode) Miryeong says, "It's not my fault", or 'I didn't do anything wrong". I really cannot stand that woman.

They might just skip over the question of Sunsin`s bio-father once DNA tests show she`s not related to her sisters. But, with her news conference, Song has certainly invited questions about her father and the manager seems to have info about the bio-father.

ARRRG... What the devil is happening over at KBS tonight this is the second night in a row that a KXLA show I was watching has bit the big one!!!
We were at about 38 minutes in the show tonight when the show froze and well now after 10 minutes it returns with a replay of the opening of the show does anyone know a good site I can hit to watch tonight's episode 26 at...I kid I already know all the good bootleg sites by heart!

Well I went to HULU to watch the rest of the episode. So if KXLA doesn't replay the last 20 min or so you'll miss Song hiding out in the hospital and being confronted by Soon Shin.

Re:

I didn't have a problem with the screen freezing (although it HAS happened to me several times w/KBS shows). I had a problem the other morning with It Was Love on MBC... that time it went black and I had to call Time Warner. Missed about 15 min of it (recorded it the next morning's repeat so didn't miss anything).

I'm wondering the same thing Sherlesin... whether or not they will bother bringing in a bio dad for Sunsin.

I don't like Yeona at all but I can (sort of) sympathize with her position. She has no family and wants more than anything to be Miryeong's daughter. And now, a bio daughter shows up, not only a threat to Yeona's place in Miryeong's heart, but the same girl is taking Yeona's place in Junho's heart. So her, I can understand, even if I think she's a nasty mean character.

The one that is a total "B" is Miryeong. She thinks there is no problem with demanding her daughter back. She threw her away when she was born and now thinks she has a right to just 'take' her. I never could understand how, in these Korean dramas, the bio parent shows up after their child is an ADULT and thinks they have some moral right to take the GROWN child back!

Yeah I lucked out when I found that HULU has the series ( they have up to episode 37 right now. ). But I noticed that they are using a slightly different translation of the names that what I've be come used to...like Soon Shin instead of Sunsin in our local KBS/KXLA airing, and am not sure how they were spelling Song's name.

Yeona is shaping up in my mind as the one to watch-out for in this "Saturday soaper", first she toys with Junho heart. And then gets all jealous of Soon Shin because she was working too close with "her man" she even got "mommy" to help get rid her in the first place. And last night she learns where she stands in Junho's heart when she saw them together outside of the hosp.. And of course Song sneaks out her home to see Soon Shin at home and finds both Soon Shin and mother in a tearful embrace in the finale scene of the episode!

I was so engrossed by the story last night, and having to find out the ending myself that I can't even remember how much of my other soap I watched ( "Wonderful Mama" ) I guess I'll have to go back and watch my recording. I'm so tempted to continue at HULU watching the rest of the story of Soon Shin.

Re: K-Drama: 최고다 이순신 (Lee Soon Shin is the Best)

What a disappointment last night! I couldn't believe the programming was so screwed up again. On Friday night it seemed like someone had reversed the daily drama with the KBS local news—which aired the last quarter of the hour instead of the first quarter of the hour. Then to miss the conclusion of Lee Soon Sin last night... what idiotic mistakes. Looks like an inexperienced person doesn't quite understand how to deal with an unplanned glitch. The disc freezes, and you gotta get something to fill that airtime. Just start the episode over again, commercials and all!

Unfortunately for me, I am unable to watch any streaming video at this time, so if anyone would like to share any details from the last quarter of last night's episode, I would appreciate it.

BTW, is KXLA still one episode behind the KBS cable airings? Or, are we finally on the same page?

Re:

I am really quite lost recently because of the TV blackouts with the Kdramas.

The repeats do not bother me all that much but I do get confused when they are chopped into bits and pieces. I see scenes that are old and then something that is quite new to me. At the moment I dont know where Sunsin is or who has taken her as their daughter. I do think the actress playing Sunsin is almost out of her depth in this role. She is pretty and does quite well but there is a hint that she does not understand the emotions and the deep well she could dip into in many of the scenes. The older actresses carry her very well but sometimes in the moments with the CEO they both look a bit lost. He seems hesitant to fully act out his character and if he did, then he would shine and the actress would be high and dry.
I still watch and ca't imagine how this will end.
