Re:

So funny when Jaryong and Gongju were working the restaurant in sync. I like that they are slowly warming up to each other at a believable pace. Not like in some of these dramas where X decides Y will be the one because X says so.

It is known from reading the summary on the title page that these two happily end up together. We don't know whether or not Jaryong has a problem when he finds out Gongju is rich. But when he does find out, it will be just the opposite of My Daughter Seoyoung. Here, the guy is really in love and riches/family don't make any difference, whereas in My Daughter, the riches/family are too much for Lee Sangu to bear. I realize there are a lot of different circumstances to make it so in each case, but it's nicer when love conquers all.

Also, was rooting for Gongju how she stood up to the former boyfriend and refused to go with him. Beautiful!

Peg, to be honest, no, I never cared for him at first. He always looked so grouchy and in some of his earlier roles, he wasn't the nicest person. I started to change my mind about halfway through I Do, I Do. But I'm afraid I'm sold on him now. He is such a nice guy in this one, with a good heart. He is definitely the one I'm focusing on in this one.

Re: K-Drama: 오자룡이 간다 (Here Comes Oh Jaryong)

I have to shake my head at Gija's antics, she's definitely a Saewa-mother type character. All the characters better watch out. LOL

Yongsuk seems to be buying into his mother's dream, now he's starting to show signs of ambition as he looks at Jinju's father's company highrise, as if the wheels are starting to get into motion that he wants THIS, all of it. After all his hardship throughout life and this recent Gija financial pit that he had to help dig them all out of, I can understand his ambition to succeed, however, I hope he doesn't start buying into all of his mother's nefarious schemes. He will no doubt have to protect her from this potential CCTV issue though, he may have to deal with the other guy investigating the CCTV though since he's the other person that knows or has seen the footage (even after Yongsuk destroyed the data last night).

But then there's Yongsuk's girlfriend/wife in the US that's still waiting for him, while he keeps stringing her along. It seems like this too is a potential turning point with him starting to be conflicted on what to do with her... dump her to pursuit Jinju (most likely to me) or will he try to stabilize his situation here to then bring her (not as likely). Kind of a jerk-ish thing to do, given she's been waiting all along with little money waiting to meet him, but then he changed her plans when he was fired and told her to wait as he's going to be coming back to her, but then he got the job at J-Dad's company and everything is back in he's staying in Korea and she needs to wait for him.

Very sad to see Jinju on the receiving end of all the pain - Gija's stunt has turned Baekro from dominating mother, to dominating mother on the war path... with Inkuk's daughter visibly, mentally and emotionally shaken in seeing J-Mom treating her father poorly, she is afraid of that whole family and retreats from Jinju... Jinju is now in a complicated situation since Inkuk has to take his daughter's emotional safety first.

Jaryong and Gongju are a delight to watch, they make me laugh and smile like Unchan and Trot did in My One and Only, they have chemistry, and are fun and light to watch.

And so it begins...

Jinju and Inkuk/Inkook are broken... now the path for Yongsuk is clearly opened as he ambitiously tries to chase her (over hearing the Chairman on the phone, rushing to the bar with her). Poor Jinju, a ton of heartache for her in this episode and for Inkuk thanks to Gija's scheme.

Leave it up to Gongju to get them lost in the boonies. LOL! emoticon The outhouse scene was almost a copy from Dream High season 1. On another note, it's easy to forget what a blessing indoor plumbing is... I can't imagine having the hassles of an outhouse in the middle of the night, in freezing cold of winter, and spider webs (per last night's scene) and insects all over.

SuperRookie: Sure is isn't it? That Yongsuk is jumping on the idea of becoming son in law and heir to the company of Jinju's family. I really was hoping he'd be different. Once he stomped on the evidence that showed his own mother starting the rumor, I was pretty much done w/him.

Yongsuk keeps getting phone calls from an ex girlfriend in the U.S. so I be she'll show up to shake things up for him and his mommy's plans! I hope so because I really can't stand that Gija.

That said though, I could see these three old friends becoming in-laws with each other. Jaryeong with Gongju, Jinju with Yongsuk. That would tie the the three women together forever. And I could also see Yongsuk really falling in love with Jinju.

Re: K-Drama: 오자룡이 간다 (Here Comes Oh Jaryong)

Gija seems to have put everything where she wants it. I do think Yongsuk is attracted to Jinju but once he found out his mother's plans, he became more active in putting himself where ever Jinju is.

Love watching Jaryong and Gongju scenes. They are so funny.

Not sure widower guy is out of the picture yet. He seems to miss Jinju very much. And just because Gija is trying so hard to manipulate everyone around her (for her own advancement) I hope it doesn't work out for Jinju and Yongsuk. I would like to see her go to the widower!

I have to agree regarding Yongsuk. I was really hoping that he would take the high road, but I guess if he did, this wouldn't be a drama. I have believe that how is starts with Jinju will not be how it ends up. I think he will fall in love with her and she with him. I also agree that his US girlfriend will suddenly show up and stir the pot up. Now I am wondering if he married her or if they were just living together. I do recall a conversation saying that she is running out of money so I assume he has been supporting her.

The married guy I think will somehow rise to the occasion and fight for Jinju. He really does love her and at one point he was successful until his wife passed. I wonder if Jinju ends up with him?????

Oh wow.... Yongsuk's girlfriend has arrived from the U.S....... PREGNANT!!! I don't think he's married to her. But this will be Jinju dating another man with a child. I hope the baby is Yongsuk's because I really don't care for the idea of Gija getting her way in this. Such a greedy woman.

Jaryeong and Gongju are my favorite to watch. So silly, but so cute.
