If there is an overall, big picture of what their schedule is in the near future, I haven't been able to find it. What I did find is that they are randomly showing very short dramas in their Prime Time hours—dramas with as few as 2-4 episodes.Edit: The KXLA weekly schedule that KBS America publishes shows the following for this week: Mon-Tue: "Drama Special - Ordinary Love" Wed-Thu: "Drama Special - The Best Time of My Life" [The same website also has the schedule charts for TimeWarner Cox and DIRECTV.] Since KBS America publishes only the current week's schedule, I don't know what will be shown next week. However, KBS America's website schedule is usually the same as what the TV schedule shows, and if you click on the TV schedule's "Additional Airings" link, you can see if the drama is only a couple episodes long, or if it looks like one of the longer dramas we are used to. Unfortunately I have had no internet connectivity for the last several days and now is the first I've been able to be back on-line. In the past, all the K-dramas became overwhelming for me, especially with MBC airing them practically around the clock. That was when SuperRookie stepped in and took up the load of MBC and some other dramas. Now that he is no longer here, I am unable to keep up with everything that he posted and took care of. Basically, I was able to cover most of the prime time KBS and SBS offerings, leaving MBC (and KBS World schedules) to him. Creidesca is correct that I am primarily limiting my attention to the Prime Time dramas only, though I do put in other random K-dramas now and then. Having worked in the K-forum for nearly 10 years, my abilities have declined of late and I am unable to take care of all that is out there. I'm doing my best, though I realize my best is not very acceptable these days. The drama Son Baek Daughter of the King really is a good historical. I'm enjoying watching it myself, though I do not know which episodes are currently being aired this week. If people wish to have a topic for it and participate in discussing it, I will be more than happy to create the thread. nondisclosed_email@example.com (nchristi)Thu, 27 Mar 2014 19:41:56 +0000 Re: New dramashttps://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2065168,from=rss#post2065168https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2065168,from=rss#post2065168 class blockquote brad23 wrote: nchristi, Not sure if this is the place but I have been watching a drama every weeknight called 'Son Baek Daughter of the King' for several episodes. I use Cox cable channel 481 which seems to change call letters at times TVK at times and even MBC. However I have not seen this listed with us and it is such a good drama I wondered why it had been missed. I doubt it is historical but it is a good early costume drama. It is keeping my attention off my medial problems for which I am grateful right now.I'm guessing the reason why nchristi doesn't have it listed is because it comes on earlier in the day as opposed to around primetime evening, even though it comes on either right before or an hour before Shining Romance. I didn't see the MBC weekend drama, A Little Love Never Hurts listed either, even though in Korea it's MBC's family weekend drama (equivalent to KBS' Wang's Family). Likely because the hours for it on the weekend on MBCD are odd. It comes on around noon/afternoon and reruns in the very early morning hours. Anyways, for anyone interested, starting 3/25/14 on ICN 44.8 (2 epis/night from 10pm-12am), they'll be airing the drama Master Lin in Seoul (cooking drama!) that stars Jang Seo Hee as the female lead. The drama is in Mandarin, since it's a Chinese Mainland drama. Seems like she's been focusing her career in China; her last drama for Korea was back in 2010 (OB/GYN Doctors). nondisclosed_email@example.com (creidesca)Mon, 24 Mar 2014 16:19:31 +0000
