C-Drama: LA18 7pm <夫妻那些事> "Husband and Wife Thing" (4/19/2012-6/5/2012)
This is a 34-episode drama depicting the married life of a modern couple in China. It stars Huang Lei, a popular Chinese actor. The show centers around a working couple, whose quest to have a child after the death of the husband's father, ended up in failed IVF attempts and eventually a divorce. But the couple ended up back together after overcoming challenges in their professional lives.
I am not a fan of drama set in modern day China. I thought the plot was predictable and contrived.
