Re: Adding subs to video.
Hi Greg,
I will check that again. I actually sent the video ep 2 and then the Audeo Ep 2 to desktop and then opened a new folder and put them in it. It worked for ep 1.
I will go over it again.
I find it frustrating, but interesting ,to see what the computer will do when it does not want to obey me. It makes me think...sometimes in my sleep because I wake up in the early hours and I know I have been mulling it over in my sleep.... I always seem to dream in Korean or Japanese anyway and I don't even speak the languages..!!
thanks Greg.

the above youtube video is very good at explaining what that thing does, and why I recommend you to get a portable harddrive (acting like scratch disk to off load some episodes just to watch on TV, while you still have all the episodes in permanent storage somewhere) rather than the full size harddrive that require power cord and plug to power up the full size harddrive everytime you move it around.

Re: Adding subs to video.
Problem is solved. :-)
I deleted all the download for ep.2. Then I began again from scratch. I had a suspicion that the srt file would not fit with the avi file. It was obvious that the subs did not match the speeches on the avi.
So I first did the srt again and then I d.l a smaller avi file. Then went through the motions and put the them in a new folder and played the drama.
I also have the episode 3 put together.
I must say that I feel very pleased with my grey cells.
I think in order to use the srt file with the larger avi you would need different or additional codecs. Don't want to mess about with that as I don't need them.
Thank you all for your interest and suggestions. Made me think ,but it was worth it.

Re: Adding subs to video.
Just in case anyone may be interested....
I now have the eight video files downloaded. I have the srt file put on six of them. I now have to wait for the last two srt files and I am complete. then I can site back and enjoy the drama MR.BRAIN from start to finish.
The original problem was because three different video files were being uploaded and also two different subs. files. Had to be sure to match them up with the right size file. Easy once you pay attention and know what you are doing...or should be doing.!!
thanks for all suggestion.
