J-Star: 阿部寛 Abe Hiroshi
Cool info Bubu. It sounds interesting. I see one of the guys from Salor fuku is in it too. From what I remember he was pretty good. It's also great since I'm a fan of Tokyo Jihen.

Re: J-Star: 阿部寛 Abe Hiroshi
Abe Hiroshi to marry 28 y.o. former OL
Actor Hiroshi Abe, 43, released a fax to the media early on Tuesday, announcing that he is planning to get married. According to the fax, his wife-to-be is a 28-year-old former office worker. The two were introduced through a friend and have been dating for about a year and a half.
Abe has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday night.
Sanspo says they met 4-5 years ago, and then met again about a year and a half ago and started dating.
Abe plans to register the marriage when his schedule permits. A ceremony will probably be held in the spring, but it will be family-only. --migimaru

Congrats to Abe. I am surprised that he is not already married. Why do Korean men wait so long to get married sometimes? Considering they are such a nation of families you would think they would want their own family at an early age.

Re: J-Star: 阿部寛 Abe Hiroshi
I recently watched 大帝の剣 it was pretty funny. I bought it at the video store in a mitsuwa.
Also here is something I came across and thought was funny,Although technically Mr. Ueda, not Abe wrote them.

oh the title would be "Daitei no Ken" in Japanese.
I'm not sure what a translation would be exactly, I guess something like "Sword of the Great Emperor" I also heard it's international title is "The Sword of Alexander"

Oh, is it this movie you're talking about, theanonymousafro?

Looks good -- besides Hiroshi it also stars Hasegawa Kyoko from Dragon Zakura.

Re: J-Star: 阿部寛 Abe Hiroshi
I've enjoyed this actor in My Little Chef and the Trick series. He's so amazingly tall compared to most Japanese actors (or most anyone else, for that matter!) He and Yukie Nakama are a scream in every episode of Trick.

The writers have a running gag where Ueda frequently hits his head on the wall as he's walking through the doorway because of his height. Its funny stuff!
