Help with viewing KBS VOD's
I'm having trouble with viewing VOD's from the KBS site. I received the registration confirmation email from KBS and I'm able to Logon with no problem, but when I try to view the VOD I always get this ERROR message. I use a Mac and I've tried with different browsers, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and IE... and still get an error. Any suggestions?

All of a sudden I can't view the VODs any more. Hadn't tried in a couple of months. It used to work fine on IE, never on Firefox. Any one else with a similar recent problem and if so, what have you done?

I just now went to KBS to check out the situation. I hadn't been there for a week or so, probably. I got in, but there was one thing different from the usual.
I, too, must use only IE for the KBS VODs, though my browser of choice is SeaMonkey. My usual pattern is that I have all the k-dramas in my "favorites" list, click on PIH, for example, go directly to the KBS page for selecting which VOD to watch, click on the episode link. The "login" window pops up with my ID and p/w there. I click and I'm in.
The login was different today. The Login window was blank and I had to type in my ID and p/w. It worked and the episode began playing.
I wonder if maybe the KBS website made a change of some sort that reset the login window to blank. At any rate, I didn't have a problem.
Bubu, I've never received an error message such as yours at KBS.
Oh, one other thing. I always watch the 56K version because I've never been able to figure out how to join the website that provides the 300K and 700K versions. It's all in Korean and my trial and error has never worked in trying to join there. KBS' registration is a cakewalk compared to Conpia.

Well, I still can't get the vod.....I log in on the little screen that opens up and then the vod screen comes up but it doesn't connect for some reason.....it used to say 'buffering' and then the episode would come on but now that doesn't happen. I am definitely logged in as the main screen says 'Logout.' Oh well, maybe it will work another day....

Well, almost a year since my last post  Things went fine for a while and I could view the VODs on IE. Hadn't looked at any for a while then a few weeks ago I tried. I click on the episode, another window opens, I log in successfully, the audio comes on but the little screen never does and I get some long error message from my browser....anyone have this problem or have any ideas....

Yes, I have the exact same experience, maranyc. I started having difficulty around this past Thanksgiving. I get logged in, the audio connects but the visual never does. One day, I decided to just keep trying. After almost 70 attempts to connect, I DID get in! But after that, I wasn't able to again, and I certainly wasn't going to sit there and try dozens of times.
I asked my computer guru about it. He did all his magical stuff and concluded it has nothing to do with my computer. (I can still go in and access some old dramas once in a while) He suspects it involves KBS' servers and a change somebody made there about the time we all started having problems.
I'm curious if anyone in the States CAN get in satisfactorily, or if there are just some of us who cannot?
P.S. I sent an email to KBS-LA a couple months ago, asking if they could help or at least pass the question on to KBS Korea. Of course, I never received even an acknowledgment of my email.

Sorry for the belated reply, nchristi. At least I'm not crazy....well, not as far as this goes.
I'll check this topic from time to time - please let me know if you get any info about how to get the VODs again.
