online rental ripoff
Anyone out there using online rental services, stay away from <koreaflix.com>! When I first used them service was great! I got 4 DVDs about every 4 days. The second month I got 3 DVds every 6 days. Then it went to 2 every 10 days. This past month I tried their $24.95 for 12 rentals flat rate. I paid and ordered on May 16th. After NO response to emails, I finally complained to the Better Business Bureau since they carry the BBB seal. The BBB says they are not listed but they would investigate my complaint. That was last week. I see now that they have finally sent out 4 DVDs od the 12 today. If and when I get the other 8, I will no longer use them. I am on the Hawaii board and there are others there complaining about this company. Be carefuyl and be forewarned about them!

Interesting. Maybe its not as professional as Netflix was. Or there are a lot of people using this and not too many DVD's to go around.

I wish I would have read this sooner- this company had no problem deducting the fee from my bank acct.lickity-split-- sent me nothing - will not respond to e-mails- can't get through on the phone-the part that concerns me is not losing the 20$- so much as, they have my acct. info- and apparently are doing shady business. When I click on the website- in the lower banner bar it says error on page?- so- looks as if they are just open for collecting fees for a bogus service. Their home page and company info seem so legit-As you say- what a rip-off!

Wow, sherlee. This is series. Especially if they do shady business and have your account information and social security number, etc. Any news from the BBB?

Thanks, kupuna96815 and sherlee. I'm going to sticky this topic to make it more visible in hopes that it will help others.

If need be, you would be able to take them to court, correct?

Surely they are banking on the hope that most people would just give up in frustration, rather than to pursue trying to get the 20$ back. It is scary, though, that they have all these peoples acct. info.-I'm going to go to my bank about it. As of today, there is no way of getting them to respond to my attempts of contact.

Yeah - its not really the 20 dollars but more so the fact they have your account information.
