Moderator Deparment Chair

Okay, now that our board is growing, I think that the moderators should have one voice from one of them to represent all of them in general. That's what they usually do at major message boards or ones with a low amount of moderators, like us.

So, basically, everyone at CJK, who thinks should be the moderator deparment chair at CJK? Me, Triple Lei, or simplelove? Vote above.

The winner will be moderator deparment chair, represent the moderators in general, and give the other mods pointers on how they should moderate. The moderator deparment chair will immediatly report to Creidesca, so vote!!

EDIT - Mods can vote for themselves

Re: Moderator Deparment Chair

Umm, just a question: how do all the moderators feel about this? Do they all really want the job, or do some have a “I can take-it-or-leave-it” feeling about it? Or, do any of the moderators absolutely NOT want the job? No point in voting in a moderator who’d really rather not be the King Mod.

I’d like to hear the feelings of the moderators before I cast a vote.

Some people I've talked to (mods) who's name I will not give just said that they don't really care but don't see the point of it right now. It'll probably be a no care attitude.

Re: Moderator Deparment Chair

in other words.
hiroshi has talked to me
and i've said i dont really care
since we as mods havent dont all that much, well not as much to win employee of the month or something.

even with the increase in members. EVERYONE is really nice. therefore. i dont really care. i highly doubt i'd have much to give pointers on and much ot report on, but the thread has been made so.. meh.

i've even given up on my double posting rampages. some ppl just dont get it.

Think of it as a presidential election, in a sense. And Diane, I'm not saying make a reign of terror, if you win, you'll just kinda 'represent' us.

Re: Moderator Deparment Chair

hmm...very interesting...hmm...well, if people feel by doing this, then the board will look more organized and more professional, then okay. For some reason, I kept thinking about a Jackie Chan movie while I was readoing everyone's responses.

Re: Moderator Deparment Chair

I have to say that a moderator department chair is what some message board's are doing nowadays. I forgot to add that the most experienced moderator is usually it. Here, we're all experienced, so that's why I set up a poll.

Re: Moderator Deparment Chair

you may not want to linkein it to a "presidential election" in that you vote for the least of 2 evils. so are you shure you still want to likein it to a "presidential election"?

Sorry I'm in a emoticon mood.
