Re: ImaginAsian TV network set for August launch
Thanks for the info, which plan do you have, 1, 2, or 3?
But KSCI has Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Armenian, Iranian, Indian, as well as Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox programming. It is very international, is KIKU like that?

I use to subscribe to NGN1. I thought there would be more japanese subtitle programs. Sadly very few of thenm. Plus they were showing repeats of korean dramas from Kbfd. But I found the picture quality worst than Kbfd broadcast.
I guess you would call Kiku-tv vhannel multi international. I see some of their international programs are right from KSCI site. Like Teat Time, World & International Report. Here is the link to Kiku-tv schedule.

They also have filipino news and shows as well as stuff from Korean Christian Broadcasting.
But primarily I watch them for subtitled japanese shows and dramas. Sadly there are hadly any new dramas. Your lucky if you get one every month or so. Everything seems to be just repeats of old shows and dramas.

Re: ImaginAsian TV network set for August launch
ccwf, since the name of this network is a spin off of the Disney "Imagineering" and "Imagination", could Disney have put this whole thing together? They do have employees all over the world and, if Disney is not involved, could this be the subject for a lawsuit? Very, very intriguing.

Re: ImaginAsian TV network set for August launch
As far as Disney is concerned, one of the pages on their web site says, “Are you tired of the same old Disney animation films? We have the cutting edge alternative for you -- Japanese Anime.” The press release linked earlier says that the CEO used to work for Paramount and Spelling and some other companies, but not Disney.

Thanks for the follow-up, Ccwf!

Their earlier press reports indicated all their material would be subbed.

Re: ImaginAsian TV network set for August launch
That's excellent - so maybe we should created a Vietnamese drama forum if there is gonna be Vietnamese material on this. Sandy should also add dramas on this channel to her schedule on the main site.
I can't wait!
