Yeah, it was mikey who said it. Sorry for offending you.
I agree, they are loosing business and viewers this day. Many second generation Americans do not know Japanese.

Do you mean me??? No offence whatsoever taken by yours truly.
Now, if you offended somebody ELSE that I'm not aware of, well, I can't help you much with that!

Re: J-drama: To the One I Love
Not being Japanese, I'm a little confused while watching this drama. Also perhaps because I've only seen a few full episodes. If anyone can help correct me, this is my take on last episode...
Kanno Miho's character flies across Japan (to Nagasaki?) to see Shunsuke and continue to help him in a professional manner. She had already been turned down by him in the previous episode, when he told her he could not reciprocate her feelings for him. Her boss encouraged her to try again though, while her father does not want her to go. Itoh Misaki plays Ai-chan (Kanno Miho's sister?) and she is the only one in the family to know the reason for the trip to visit Shunsuke. So, she arrives there and continues to try to persuade Shunsuke not to give up hope. Once the mom finds out, she's overwhelmed with this tragedy on top of recently losing her younger son. Kanno Miho helps her by listening to her frustrations, and is moved by the tragedies in her life story. The next morning, she goes out early to replace the withering flowers. This thoughtful gesture and additionally, a report designed specifically for him, awakens an emotion in Shunsuke to not let her go back to Tokyo alone. he barely catches her at the airport and asks her to stay beside him.
I don't know if I got the episode figured out correctly, but it was still touching how mother and son interacted and how there was a developing connection between Shunsuke and Kanno Miho. (I don't remember her character's name!)
Anyways, next episode seems to be another moving episode. apparently her brother doesn't want her to be involved with Shunsuke for some reason, and obviously the other guy (don't know his name either, but he's probably a current or ex-boyfriend) doesn't want Shunsuke around either! at least those hospital kids will be happy to have the friendly cameraman around again. =)

Re: J-drama: To the One I Love
if this has happened to you before, you know how frustrating it can be...argh! i taped the wrong channel and therefore missed an entire episode of this drama....
if anybody out there saw yesterday's ep (#7, i think it was), can I get a brief summary of what happenened? even though it's not subtitled, i think it's one of the better dramas i've seen on tv here.

Re: J-drama: To the One I Love
Just a note that the drama to replace To the One I Love in Japan is Destiny of Love, which stars Nakama Yukie, synopsis in english: http://www.fujitv.co.jp/en/program/new_prog/d_destinyoflove.html
official hp: http://www.fujitv.co.jp/wankei/index2.html
I don't know if we'll be seeing this drama here in SoCal or not. To the One I Love is 11 episodes

That's good, Mikey-sama. Arigatou.
Thanks for the heartening news Creidesca! Nakama Yukie in her newest drama! SUGOI! I HOPE that we see it here in the U.S, but I and the other Trick fans are still waiting for Trick 3.
