this new FujiTV drama, will replace the specials that have been airing at the Sunday night FujiTV timeslot on KSCI, starting May 02, 2004.

synopsis (from the FujiTV site):

What if the one you love were destined to lose his eyesight in three months?

What would you like him to see last?

If you were him, what would you want to see last?

Shiki Tomokawa is a new pediatrician who is enjoying her life. She falls in love with Shunsuke, a cameraman, who is destined to lose his eyesight in a couple of months. How will Shiki react when she finds out Shunsuke's destiny?

"To the One I Love" takes place in two contrasting cities—in the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, and in the peaceful city of Nagasaki, and depicts both the joys and sadness of life, and the interaction with family and friends.

Cast: Miho Kanno、Naohito Fujiki、Misaki Ito、Hiroshi Tamaki、Mirai Moriyama、Kaoru Yachigusa、Shigeru Izumiya、Saburo Tokito others

Ah, the famous 菅野美穂. Some may remember her from Churasan (or her guest appearance on Iron Chef or other things).

Anyways, the FujiTV site above also has a short trailer for 愛し君へ.

yup, Miho Kanno. At least in this series she won't always be wearing black =P

Sandy, this replaces the specials on Fuji TV on Sunday night? Is this airing on KSCI? Or on Fuji? Because after the Sunday night UTB drama, we have Harvest Time and then some Korean stuff.

this series replaced Great White Tower, which was at the 7:30pm timeslot

I see. I forgot about Shiroi. I was imagining late night Fuji programming, but I realised that they only air that on week nights.

Decided to take a glimpse of the drama, tho I had already d/led the 1st 2 epis raw.

I actually found myself watching this and Only and Three Older Sisters at the same time

LOL, you must like it if you were watching this along with 3 Older Sisters. I missed it, because my brother was hogging the TV('s) (he had like two shows playing on both tv's and was running to both rooms to watch at the same time) but I don't need a summary. I'll catch up next week.

lucky me, my TV has a split screen option, while another TV has a screen within a screen option
