(Churasan)
If Churasan 1 was in English subs, then most likely Churasan 2 and maybe even Churasan 3 will be in English subs. But we won't see Churasan 3 here in the US until mid- or late-2005.

(Churasan)
How cool they made a couple sequels to Churasan, even though I have no idea what they could have come up with for storylines, being as I thought the first series ran out of steam toward the end. Still, it will be fun to revisit the characters. I love the grandma. I really hope they plan to air the sequels here.

No, after Good Luck, this other two parter is airing, and after Younger Man, this other one is airing. Looks like UTB is showing TBS dramas now.

I'm a little clueless...
Could you fill me in on what TBS means and who produces Churasan?

(Churasan)
TBS is a TV channel/production company in Japan, and they produce Younger Man and a lot of other dramas. As for who produces Churasan I have no clue.

Churasan was aired on NHK, and it's a morning drama...therefore, if Churasan 2 was a morning drama, you won't expect it to replace any of the Sunday evening dramas--rather if there's the chance it gets aired, it will replace the weekday morning drama. At the moment, the weekday morning drama is Honmamon

(Churasan)
Yeah, but some people were saying that it would be an evening drama as it was an hour long drama. That's what they were saying.

(Churasan)
Again, according to the top of the NHK page (link in the first post), Churasan 2 aired Mondays in Japan from 9:15–9:58pm (except there was a special schedule on the first day).

The reason I asked is that I e-mailed a thank you to one of the production company's assuming they did the programs of the subtitled shows I was watching... now I'm not sure who to thank... I think I said thanks to the wrong company.m
