Re: J-morning drama: Honmamon
I think the last 2 episodes could have been combined into one.
Of course, this being a TV drama, reality doesn't play any part in it.
I don't think Konoha deserved to have her husband back. She can't wave him away when she doesn't feel good about him supporting her and then expect him to return with good feelings.
This show doesn't leave me thinking about life in general like some other J-dramas. Did anyone see A-Shin?

Re: J-morning drama: Honmamon
Personally, I did not think very highly of this drama. It was just "a drama" that you could watch. But it wasn't something I would watch again. A lot of unasnwered questions, for someone who missed half the show.
1) Is Suzu in France? Or was it just said she's in Europe? Cause I know she left for Europe, but was it later specified where in Europe?
2) Is Seiko's kid a girl?
3) What other kids did Komuro-san have?

No, it wasn't specified where in Europe. Still, if there were a ほんまもん2, I think they would find a way to work Suzu in (e.g., shacking up with the chef who issued the invitation ;)).

Re: J-morning drama: Honmamon
I say she's in England. Did her mom go with her?

Re: J-morning drama: Honmamon
Thank god this drama is over. It just dragged on and on and on. Evil Suzu was the peak of the drama in my opinion. Egonoha was probably the worst. I hated the fact that years passed by in 1 episode. Another thing, it seemed like everyone was a damned culinary expert.

Just some questions - How many kids does Seiko's husband have left over from his old marriage?
And Seiko's new kid is a girl rite?
Seiko's husband had one teenage daughter still in school. If I remember correctly, there were some problems (with ex-wife?) in the daughter visiting her dad and he hadn't seen her for a long time.
Seiko arranged for the daughter to come alone for lunch at Konoha's second restaurant in the hotel, the one Komuro was running, so they could see one another. Memory's sort of foggy on this, but I think this was the pivotal point where Seiko and Komuro started having a real relationship (previously it was Seiko's crush on him but he wasn't responding).
Sorry, but I don't recall the sex of their newborn (wasn't it a boy?).

Re: J-morning drama: Honmamon
Thank you, Moi.
Yes, I remember seeing that episode. It was one of the cutest ones of the series. But what happened? Is the teenage daughter w/ the mom or Komuro-san now.
