C-Drama: 四大名捕會京師 (Four Guard Detectives)
I think Marshalls is a better translation, but if it has an official
title already, we should use that.
It replaces "Stairway to Heaven" at 7pm on KSCI, starting 9/23/04.
From the trailer, I saw actors from HK, Taiwan, and mainland China.
The subtitles are simplified characters, so I assume it is mainland
production.
HTH.

Re: C-Drama: Four Legendary "Bounty Hunter"
I believe it's this 1, and the main lead is Korean actor Cha In Pyo (the main lead in the current MBC drama Age of Heroes which is airin here in SoCal on M-Tues at the 9;50-10:50pm timeslot on KSCI):
other cast members include Wallace Zhong, Shui Ling, Rebecca Huang
an official hp for the series: http://www.ctv.com.tw/event/2004/lawman/
can someone confirm if this is the correct one? that way I can go update the series page.
This series has been officially released for rental here in the US, it's official english title is: Four Guard Detectives
and just FYI: Cha In Pyo sang the opening theme song!

Re: C-Drama: Four Guard Detectives
Yes, this is the right show.
I've corrected the title on my first post.
Thanks for the information. I guess Korean actors/actresses are
very popular....as if there is not enough Chinese actors/actresses
to go around.

you know what? I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future, KSCI-TV will air the chinese mainland/tw remake of the Japanese drama, 101st Proposal, which stars Choi Ji Woo (we all know who she is), Suen Hing (the Dad from Amor de Tarapaca), Jerry Huang (from The Rose), and others, since the DVD and VCD is now available.

101 Proposal
I just loved the Japanese theme song of the original 101 Proposal. I don't think any remake will surpass the original show.
Is that the show which replaced Amor de Tarapaca in Taiwan?

I just love Chage and Aska (They sang the theme song from 101 Proposal)!

no, the series was aired on CCTV I believe, it's a chinese mainland remake.

Re: C-Drama: 四大名捕會京師 (Four Guard Detectives)
After watching last night's ep, I have the urge to go rent the series dubbed in my language. When it had been made available in my language, I decided not to rent because I had other dramas I was watching at the time and wasn't too sure if this would be a good series or not, but from watching last night's ep, seems like it is.

That's good to hear. I generally don't have the time during the week for daily hour-long dramas, but I've recorded all the episodes so far just in case people thought it was decent.

Re: C-Drama: 四大名捕會京師 (Four Guard Detectives)
This show ended today. The only interesting part of this show is hearing a non-Chinese speaking Korean sing the title tracks of this show.
I don't know why I find that funny, but I can't help myself.
