Re: C-Drama: 煙花三月 (Misty Love in Palace)

I missed the last episode but did manage to tape it. I'm about to check it out now. Knowing the actual fate of poet Nalan Xingde makes me suspect that this will be a sad ending. Although this drama has been somewhat drawn out, I still have enjoyed it.

>_<
what the heck type of ending was that?!? sorry but it was too open imo. i'm not totally against this series, just a bit too long for my taste (especially to have an ending like that)
anyone fluent in chinese willing to post translation of some of the text in the ep. for non-chinese fluent readers? thankies in advance

The ending I saw was that Ming-zhu, his wife & trusted, loyal servant Bo-hai were living like peasants preserving Rong-ruo's works. Was that it?

I do as I please.

I think there may have been a rain storm (or maybe flood) and they were drying out the scrolls of writing by Rong-Ruo by hanging each sheet of paper like laundry. When a gust of wind got some papers, the servant wanted to chase the paper back, but Ming-zhu stopped him. He said the papers that were blown away by the wind was likely Rong Ruo's way of retrieving writings that needed further work. Ming-zhu commented how his son loved perfection. I think that was the end.
