posticon J/K-Dramas in Chinese

Since Chinese drama fans might not keep regular tabs on the Japanese and Korean drama sections, this topic lists Japanese and Korean dramas on this site which have been shown in Chinese in California.

It is not a list of all our Japanese and Korean drama topics with Chinese versions (shown anywhere) because that list would be immense. But if someone really wants to post the Chinese names for all our Japanese and Korean dramas, feel free. I can even show you sites where you can find many of those names.classulclassliK-Drama: xml:langko-KR천국의 계단 (xml:langzh-TW天國的階梯 / Stairway to Heaven)

Good idea for a topic, ccwf.

I hope that they dub more Japanese and Korean dramas in Chinese - and hopefully sub them in English too.

Re: J/K-Dramas in Chinese

Ccwf ~ I don't know if I should ask this here or at the actual topic for this show - but my question is whether this show (Ryuuten no Ouhi) was officialy shown in both China and Japan. The reason I ask is because apparently it was filmed in China as well as in Japan - so is there a chance it was shown in China too?

Looks like it's been shown three times in Taiwan. I don't know about China.

Oh - in that case, then the top Chinese site seems to be the official website for viewers on Taiwan Island. The link also ends in .com.tw, which means it is a Taiwanese website.

That's interesting - it would be interesting if they left it undubbed, since the current English subtitles for Chinese shows have both English and Chinese subtitles.

Welcome, ligirlyil!

Well, I just watch Japanese programs, but the main website (can someone supply a link? I'm not at my computer right now but at my cousin's computer) has a list of current Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dramas airing in Socal.

Re: J/K-Dramas in Chinese

One of my friends from Japanese class said that he found that drama available with Chinese subtitles, retaining the Korean voice over.

I've barely spent any time watching TV, but there are about seventy channels here in Taipei. Multiple channels carry dramas. Chibi Maruko Chan (dubbed and subbed) also appears to be popular.

That sounds pretty cool. Are there any Japanese channels there?
