Yesasia.com sells the soundtrack to this show:

This soundtrack is probably for Secret Garden 1, not Secret Garden 2.

There are two opening songs: The song that intermingles with each segment (and the beginning song from Secret Garden I) is called
"Love Me One More Day" by Energy

The opening song for today's show is called "Cha Cha Love Secret Garden"

The ending song for today's show is called "Wasting Love" by Hsiao-An

It's not too late. Most of the synopsis from the first few episodes were written in the official website.

Although I find it endearing to hear Hsiao-Ming speaks Mandarin with a Taiwanese accent, it's not in tune with her life with parents (in the show) who speak perfect Mandarin. I guess audience would forgive that kind of inconsistencies.

This show makes me wish I'm in college again. It's fun to be young!

TieuLinhTinh, if you select the Chinese to English link underneath the w/ Pop-up Translations menu at the top or bottom of the page, you'll then see the pinyin for each character as you move your mouse over it.classblockquotemerela wrote:classblockquoteccwf wrote:

Do I need to have seen (or read the episode summaries for) Secret Garden I? I didn't see that, either.

I think you just need to understand what the relationship was b/w Xiao Min and Yao Hui in part 1 to understand her actions towards him in part 2.

Re: TW-drama: 我的秘密花園II (Secret Garden II)

There were many references to details in Part 1 that you need to know--little things Yao-Huei did for Hsiao-Ming while he pursued her. She didn't appreciate him until he was gone, even though she kept everything he gave her or connected with him.

But I think you'll still understand Part 2 without watching Part 1 because any references to Part 1 will be explained somehow by the characters that brought it up in the first place.

There were 4 new characters to Part 2. The boat-building guy that Hsiao-Ming is interested in. The girls' new roommate. The cook who was the head of the mafia before he went to jail for killing someone. And the incompetent scout-agent that En-En got involved with.

I don't remember the details of how Yao-Huei got hurt from Part 1 (it has been less than a year and I had forgotten it already), but all you need to know is that he didn't tell any of his friends that he lived. Everyone thought he had died.

The dialogue is refreshingly young and the chemistry between these friends/characters are wonderful to see. If you have nothing better to do during lunch, it's not a bad way enjoy your lunch while watch this show (or vice versa).

I don't know if the official link to Secret Garden 1 still exist. But they did have an episode to episode summary on-line, so check it out to give you some background to this youthful story.

"Love Me One More Day" (Ai Wo Duo Yi Tien) by Energy

Love Me One More Day is the opening song in Secret Garden I, but it plays quite a bit in Secret Garden II. You can find the details of this song when you scroll down near the bottom of this link:

http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/pid-1002787127/did-0/code-c/section-music/

The opening song for today's show is called "Cha Cha Love Secret Garden" (Cha Cha Ai Mi Mi Hua Yuen) This song is sang by all the girls in the show and Li Yueh.

The ending song for today's show is called "Wasting Love" (Lan Fei Ai Ching) by Hsiao-An

Scroll down to the bottom of this link and you'll find a list of songs in Secret Garden 2:

Re: TW-drama: 我的秘密花園II (Secret Garden II)

I finished watching Friday's episode 5 hours ago and I'm still thinking about it!!!

classrevealImageclassspoilerIt's hard to watch Yao-Huei trying to get on Hsiao-Ming's good side again (for the rest of the series I presume) when it's not his fault that he was in a coma for 3 years. Hsiao-Ming is coming off as a self-centered, spoiled, immature little girl. I feel sorry for Yao-Huei's character. Like Yao-Huei's best friend said (I think it's the best line so far) "How come Hsiao-Ming's roommates are one-by-one prettier than Hsiao-Ming?!" But it still brok Yao-Huei's heart when Hsiao-Ming failed to show up at his welcome back party. But the reality is that it is not uncommon in Taiwan for a guy to suffer so in pursuit of a woman! So I guess a lot of the audience will be able to relate.

I had to get that off my chest!
