Re: Chinese Drama or Taiwanese Drama?
Hmm, I thought that there was more. But if you have cable, there is a channel that airs international shows 24/7, and some of the Chinese stuff they have is really Korean but subbed into Mandarin.

Really? Is the channel available in So Cal? Which channel?
And I believe Huan Zhu Ge Ge III is Taiwanese since its based on a novel by the taiwanese author Qiong Yao. But most of the actors are from China/Hong Kong

Re: Chinese Drama or Taiwanese Drama?
Yes, I do believe it is Taiwanese also, even though most of the cast and crew are from the mainland and Hong Kong.
If you have Time Warner, it is available in So Cal, known as I, the International Channel, Channel 95. Avaiable only on cable though. They show the Taiwanese drama "Spring Rain" at 10:00.

Re: Chinese Drama or Taiwanese Drama?
^ I don't watch the dramas on international channel they show at 10:00. Instead, I got to another channel and Chinese dubbed and subtitled Korean dramas.

Re: Chinese Drama or Taiwanese Drama?
Takara, you live in Northern California, so the channels might be different there. The majority of the board lives in the South, but I think I know what channel you're talking about. Are you talking about KSCI? The name may be different 'cause it may have a different name in the Southern California.

Yeah, like I said, it must be different in Northern California.

Re: Chinese Drama or Taiwanese Drama?
BTW, do other Asian countries that you could say are modern (Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) have TV dramas that are aired?
