Think of a drama that's funnier than Sweet 18 or Only Son & Three Older Sisters, with a plot that's (potentially?) more spine-tingling than Beauty Beyond Expression or Koibumi, more touching than Tell Me You Love Me or Wonderful Life, and with girls hotter than the ones in... well, any other drama I've seen in my 7 or 8 years of drama watching. 
And that's just from the first two episodes! Folks... this drama is all that. I've already downloaded the first two episodes and I've enjoyed the heck out of them! Plus our very own creidesca has a hand in making the subs! What more can you want!?
I might be permanently saving this show to TiVo... and I've never saved entire dramas to TiVo before!

But this is 1 of my favorite idol dramas, prompting me to go and buy the VCD set (I actually had to have a friend thru a supplier in Singapore send the set to me) and subtitle for others to enjoy.
I'm very happy KSCI decided to air this...a bit of a surprise they would finish 1 idol drmaa and start another 1, but I guess it's May, and summer is on it's way.
I believe the series will air roughly a total of 13-15 days (since the series when aired in TW was 13 epis--each ep being roughly plus/minus 1hr, while my VCD set is 14 discs, containing 20 45min epis)

Ah! Yesterday's episode had it all... romance... comedy... action... and I particularly enjoyed seeing that mystery guy again. As he was listening to the Mandarin but answering in Japanese, the subtitles were particularly interesting (to me, anyway):
はい。先生、教えてください。 / hai. sensei, oshiete kudasai. / Please tell (teach) me, sensei.
Probably useless sidenote that only ccwf would understand #1: In Japanese, "先生" means "teacher" (a scholar (生) who studied ahead (先) of others), but in Chinese, it means "mister", as I've already seen in The Rose eps. 1. I'm unsure why they kept "先生" in the subtitles... meh...
はい。先生、分かりました。 / hai. sensei, wakarimashi ta. / Sensei, I understood.
Probably useless sidenote that only ccwf would understand #2: Although "分かる" means to understand (and I think the character "分" is used for some far-off reason I don't care to explain right now), "理解" is also used to mean "understand". Kinda neat how "明白" means "understand" in Chinese... makes you wonder what, if anything, "理解" means in Chinese, too...
I didn't think much of when Xiao Man said 美味しい！ (oishii! / delicious!) and 幸せ！ (shiawase! / I'm so happy!) in eps. 1 or 2 when she was eating the happiness cake, but now this brings it all together.

good thing KSCI decided not to air the full disc in which the story of Xiao Ting's parents because I remember when watching the VCD set, their complete story was all in 1 disc, making me tired while watching it
