Hopefully, the workaround I put in above should reduce its impact on our members.nondisclosed_email@example.com (ccwf)Wed, 14 Mar 2007 18:34:58 +0000 https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004873,from=rss#post2004873https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004873,from=rss#post2004873Thank nchristi for getting back to me. At first I thought I was doing something wrong. Can't remember if I went back to edit the double post but I will keep that option in mind for next time (though I guess we're hoping there isn't a next time, right?)nondisclosed_email@example.com (vannessave)Wed, 14 Mar 2007 16:20:44 +0000 Re: double-postinghttps://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004804,from=rss#post2004804https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004804,from=rss#post2004804Only administrators and moderators have access to delete a post. Members can edit their posts and delete the contents, but the "shell" of the post will remain unless an admin or mod deletes it.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nchristi)Tue, 13 Mar 2007 17:00:04 +0000 https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004799,from=rss#post2004799https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p2004799,from=rss#post2004799I haven't done it in a while but I noticed when I double posted and tried to delete one of the posts, the delete didn't seem to go through. Does the delete button not work any longer?nondisclosed_email@example.com (vannessave)Tue, 13 Mar 2007 16:41:51 +0000 Re: double-postinghttps://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1999654,from=rss#post1999654https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1999654,from=rss#post1999654I don't know if this is connected in any way, but yesterday and today I have had significantly more difficulty "seeing" my posts. I used to have problems with maybe 1 out of 10 posts. Most recently, it has reversed. Almost every single post goes to a blank screen and I open a second screen to see if it has been posted—which it has in every single case. I don't believe I've ever had the occurrence others have reported that my post just totally disappears and doesn't post even after hours of waiting. P.S. By "today" I meant late into the night last night. I had no problem with this particular post right now, however.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nchristi)Sat, 16 Dec 2006 15:16:36 +0000 automatic Runboard cache-clearinghttps://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1999259,from=rss#post1999259https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1999259,from=rss#post1999259I've programmed a script to run every quarter hour that will try to flush Runboard's cache of CJKDramas.com, which should temporarily fix any problems with not being able to see posts each time it gets run. If it doesn't fix the problem with not being able to see posts, please let me know. I have a more intrusive version of the cache-clearing procedure that I know works (I've used it here on occasion and also given it to other Runboard admins who confirm it works on their their boards) and I'll switch to that one instead.nondisclosed_email@example.com (ccwf)Mon, 11 Dec 2006 01:03:13 +0000 double-postinghttps://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1393124,from=rss#post1393124https://bcjkdramasincalifornia.runboard.com/p1393124,from=rss#post1393124I think what's been going on is the following: class ul class li Sometimes, after submitted a post, Runboard just displays a blank page instead of the normal confirmation page. In all cases that I've seen, the post does actually go through. class li After the glitch above, you'll get a cached version of the last page of the topic for a while from before the post was made. In other words, you go to the last page, but you don't see your post there. However, if you go back to the forum page (the one with the list of topics for the forum) or if you hit “Add a Reply” at the bottom of the page, then you'll see your post.nondisclosed_email@example.com (ccwf)Wed, 02 Aug 2006 13:24:58 +0000
