classrevealImageclassclassspoilerCharles, what's confusing is trying to figure out exactly where you're supposed to begin entering your text after all the "code" (correct term?) has been clicked on.

Greg, the way I did it was to:
1. Click on red "spoiler" sign button
2. Click on "span" button--which puts your hidden text in one separate box per line (as you see here in this post);
or: click on "div" button instead of "span", which makes all your hidden text in one, large box, (which would be better in this particular post).
3. Go to "class" dropdown and click on "spoiler".
4. Type your text immediately before the last bracketed item in line of code. [This is where I get very confused because it seems that once I've typed text in just before the "/scan", when I go back to look at it, things have changed. ??]

Don't know if those steps are all correct, but it seems to work for me.

OK, Greg, I think I've got it! Your text is not placed in the right spot. Are you going to the very end of the code line, which is way off the screen to the right?

Below I have made another test run. It is working properly so if you want to see where I've put the text in the code line, click on "quote" as though you're going to answer me and you can examine it and see exactly what's what.

Here are the steps I have taken to make the hidden spoiler box below:

1. Click on red spoiler sign
2. Click on "div" button
3. Click on "class" drop down and drag pointer to "spoiler"
4. Go to the "message" area and go to the end of that code line. Before the last bracketed command, type in your text. (Last two commands are [class=spoiler] and [/scan]. Enter your text between these two. Make sure you are at the real end of the code line.)
5. Check "Preview". It should work.

THIS IS A TEST LINE 2
THIS IS A TEST LINE 3

It's because it would take a lot of effort to make them unhide properly under IE/Win32.

Not sure what you mean by that last part.

Note: The cursor should be automatically placed before the [/span] or [/div], which is where you want to type the spoiler text.

Note: Instead of pressing span/div, choosing spoiler, and typing, you can also type, select your text, press span/div, and then choose spoiler.

Re: Test Posts

Yeah, some people don't use the span option, some use div, so it would work with either one correctly,.

Re: Test Posts

I've added a blockquote class. It serves the same purpose as Runboard's [quote] code except that it's actually legal. Runboard's [quote] generates invalid HTML, which causes problems for at least Firefox if the post also contains a list.

So, please use [div][class=blockquote/] instead of Runboard's [quote] if your post also contains a list. Otherwise, your post will look like garbage to some viewers.
