I agree with you Pflfan. I think the husband realized how much he depends on her and how thoughtful Young-sim is. If he could only say those three little words.

From the way this show had evolved, I believe Young-sim's husband had always loved her, but he was too ashamed to admit it because everyone around him think she come from a different class and thus not worthy of his love. She is charming at 30 and I'm sure she was even more adorable at 20....no wonder a young doctor would fall for her.

It's too bad that he only realizes how much she means to him when he is about to loose her.

Can't wait until tonight's episode.

So, Ji-Hwan finally said those three little words. Too little too late

classrevealImageclassspoilerYoung-sim said she died when she found out that Jung Woo was terminally ill. It appears she died when he told her that it was all a game and that he got close to her to make Ji-Hae jealous.

The mother-in-law is crazy! emoticon

I'm amazed at how Young-sim's husband has become such a generous, understanding character. He was willing to treat Jung-woo knowing full well that if Jung-woo's life extended for another year, that's how long he'd have to wait for Young-sim. How can Young-sim go back to her husband, though? Wouldn't she be so guilt-ridden? How about Young-sim's decision to choose Jung-woo over her own kids? I didn't like that part. Does this drama end tonight or next week?

Re: K-drama: (12월의열대야) Hot Tropical Nights in December

I've been watching this drama on/off, but I'm bailing on this one -- this storyline is too far-fetched to even be close to reality. Come on, what neurosurgeon is going to let his wife run off, leave her children behind w/o even bothering to ask about them, just for the sake of some guy who makes her feel good? There are millions of guys out there who could fit that bill. Sorry, guys, I know you all hate me for this, but Young-shim is a worthless, despicable woman who should never see her children again. Then to plead w/her own husb., to save the jerk's life? No. I am sorry. No! Nada! Neurosurgeons do not need to sit around watching a wife run off; especially this guy.

The fact Young-shim felt inadequate is her problem; she knew she was no match from day she met him and had to have known those feelings of inadequacy would grow worse as time passed. You either swim w/the tide, shape up to become something your spouse can be proud of, or you walk -- before children grow to become attached to their parents. How cruel and heartless of Young-shim to place her desires above the needs of her children.

I agree w/Merela's statement, but as pflfan said:
Now it seems he realizes he loves Young-sim . . . he is using his kids as reason for keeping their marriage intact.

. . . All I can say is thank God someone in the relationship cares about the children!!! Don't try to tell me that she's hurting while she is pleading for this guy to live. Yet, she breaks her children's hearts and it is okay that they suffer? Get real! Storyline is too twisted to be believable and I don't care how much rationalization one puts forth. This drama borders on dark side!

ok, I know you all have the arrows ready to shoot, but save them for Valentine's Day emoticon . . . just expressing my opinion here; could no longer contain my feelings and reaction to this bizarre script. I would love nothing better than to have a chat with the writer.

There is only one episode left, so you might as well watch it.

I agree with you guys. How can she leave her two little children, without even saying goodbye to them, and not want to keep in touch with them, for a guy.
What is she going to do after he dies? I don't think she has thought about that. Is she going to see her children again? How is she going to face them?

Big thumbs up for Star1, right on the money. I felt bad for the actors who played along with this unrealistic and crazy script. The writer surely underestimated the viewers' basic common sense! The drama seemed to have a good start off, but then from there, it just simply went down hill!

Well, at least it'll end tonight. What drama is slated to replace this? Hopefully, it has a more believable story line.

Re: K-drama: (12월의열대야) Hot Tropical Nights in December

Thank goodness other people feel the same way about this drama as I do. It was such a cute beginning, that i'm upset that it would end this way. I'm getting really annoyed by YS's and JW's relationship. I think they are both selfish. YS should be more considerate towards her family, especially her kids. How could she give them up just to be with some guy for a month? If I was her son, I would go downstairs and yell at her myself for being so cold towards her children. Also, even though her husband hasn't really treated her as a "wife" during their marriage, he never went as far as she did, he never cheated on her and he even said so during the first episode that he would never do that to her. I really sympathize with him. He has finally realized that she's not just his wife, but someone he loves. I mean think about it, they had two kids; the first one might've been a drunken mistake, but what about the second? I think YS's behavior is totally unforgivable because she is abandoning her family for a guy.
I also find KNJ's character annoying. He used YS to get back at his ex and what does he receive in the end? He gets YS... what the heck?! I also find his character selfish. I mean, he knows he's about to die yet he keeps pulling her back to him? And he causes so much trouble for her whenever she tries to leave him. I, too, find their relationship despicable. I'm only watching this for the husband because I find him incredibly sweet and handsome now, especially whenever he runs looking for her. I love how he asked her the same questions she asked him in the earlier episodes, "Am I invisible to you?".

pfl_fan... "Sad Sonata" will be replacing this drama next week! I'm really excited about it, hopefully it'll be good.

shOrtlilnance -- thnx for super news re Sad Sonata . . . Han Ga In's fiance is in it right, along w/KSW right? Something to look forward to before the OMR duo arrive on the scene.

Oh, and BTW, I will not watch the last episode of this drama -- don't want them to have satisfaction of my viewer rating! We fans get what we ask for -- if you watch, they assume you like the drama, and, just this week, Engl. subs were added to You Are A Star, most likely to generate viewers and help pump-up disappointing ratings. In this case, they were competing w/opposing drama running w/subs. Like the saying goes, if you want to run with the big dogs, you'd better be on their turf.

To all the fans who also call the stations, THANK YOU!!! You also deserve much of the credit, so take pleasure in your accomplishment! It's rewarding to know they're finally keying in on all our requests and viewer ratings. emoticon

creidesca much applause for all your efforts and input!
