episode 13 was really cute! Anyone ever been in the situation in which they don't know what they're supposed to be doing at a fancy restaurant? Wouldn't it feel embarassing if you did something incorrect?
And later In-kyung and Jung-woo are off to a fair/circus...I'll definitely post screen caps of this episode (and episode 12 as well) later.
Hwa-yeon is about to cause trouble (from what she seemed to be doing at the end of the episode)

You mentioned something that I was going to query: how is he getting away w/dating a student? Protocol would certainly put him out on his ear (if not in jail) in Amer. Are they attending college or univ.?
Just can't wait for this novel. Enjoying all the pics - - almost like being there.

I was thinking the same, In-kyung and Hwa-yeon are I think in their last year of HS, in ep 12, they were taking an exam...and at the end of ep 14, results of the exam came out and let's just say Hwa-yeon after seeing the results ran from the school onto the bus crying w/ In-kyung chasing after her.
Jung-woo is just a substitute teacher, who according to the synopsis will supposedly be heading abroad to further his studies...in ep 1 when he first met In-kyung it was at the Seoul college where In-kyung hopes to attend (sister Hwa-yeon had basically left her sis to fend for herself in Seoul while she headed to a beauty pageant, in which 1 of the judges was Jung-woo's dad...of course she didn't win)...I think Jung-woo must be somewhat working at the Seoul college since after returning from his 1st encounter of In-kyung he asked a friend who was working in this room filled w/ books (Jung-woo was carrying books in ep 1 when it rained and that's how he met In-kyung) if his friend knew someone w/ In-kyung's name...turns out Jung-woo had arranged a "date" w/ In-kyung (I think it was the note hidden in the Beatles album he gave her), but she didn't know about till she was on the train back home.

Jung-woo, enraged, slaps Hwa-youn's face upon hearing her argue that dancing while intoxicated is more of a conscientious behavior than dating your own student. The following day, In-kyung figures out that Hwa-youn had been snooping into her diary and the two end up fighting with each other. Having seen this, Jung-woo orders the two girls to come to his office and there he rebukes them. Meanwhile, Dong-pil and Choon-bo meet again at a bar. The two had previously met at a barbershop while watching Kim-il's wrestling match.

I was actually pretty okay w/ Jung-woo slapping Hwa-yeon; she's making him feel his relationship w/ In-kyung is "wrong" when it shouldn't be. Not to mention she's bad-mouthing her half-sister like that when In-kyung worries for her. Also later in the episode, In-kyung slaps Hwa-yeon and Hwa-yeon slaps In-kyung.
Been so busy the past day or two (and also lazy) that I havn't had time to take screen caps of ep 12 yet, I also need to take screen caps of ep 17.
Episode 17 was very hilarious...the mystery man of In-kyung and Hwa-yeon's aunt finally knows the girl he's been writing to--the whole time he's been thinking it was In-kyung's mom (the aunt had a bruise due to a fight that occurred b/w In-kyung's mom and Hwa-yeon's mom that she had asked In-kyung's mom to go meet her mystery man for her)...everything was basically revealed at a circus act when In-kyung's mom and her little son went to see the show, and later the mystery man and the aunt (who are co-workers--they work for a bus company and on the same bus) went to the same one and the host on stage had called upon In-kyung's mom as a volunteer.

at the end of ep 18, Hwa-yeon swallows I guess sleeping pills before getting into bed (and ends up in the hospital in ep 19)...if this was an attempt at suicide so she could get Jung-woo or make both Jung-woo and In-kyung feel guilty, she's pathetic.
In ep 18, In-kyung goes to Seoul w/ Jung-woo and at the college run into Jung-woo's buddies, who make fun of them...I think the friends must have made some comments about her (either she's too young or she's a student) that made her look embarrassed and pretty uncomfortable. This feeling as if the 2 don't fit comes up again a bit later in the episode as she and he goes shopping (he bought her a coat) and then brings her to his family home so she can meet his parents. However, his parents weren't home, and she ends up meeting his housekeeper. The 2 spend some time in his room looking at photoalbums.
By end of ep 19, Jung-woo's parents arrive in In-kyung's hometown to see their son. Hwa-yeon returning to school after being in the hospital, is outside the door and finds out that the judge at the beauty contest she had participated and lost at is Jung-woo's dad.
So sad, though, because in ep 20, Jung-woo calls In-kyung to come to the school to meet his parents, but as she gets to the teacher's offices, she overhears from outside the door Jung-woo's mom in a rage--I think she doesn't want him to marry or be in love w/ In-kyung though she's never met the girl because she has another girl in mind for her son (but she had in a way met In-kyung when Jung-woo's parents' car had stopped and asked for directions to the school, and In-kyung had recognized them from the photoalbums).

#?@!$ We have another Aeri/Mi-ryung wanna-be. Jung-woo, who's drunk, is taken home by a fellow professor and is put to bed somewhat by the lady taking care of the boardinghouse, but Hwa-yeon comes in and says she'll take care of things. Once the owner of the boardinghouse leaves, Hwa-yeon thinks for a bit, then goes to turn off the lights and is in the process of unbuttoning her blouse...that's how ep 20 ended
Previews showed Jung-woo will likely have some disciplinary action taken against him and the "scandal" is broken out. In-kyung learns of what supposedly happened that night...things are not looking up for Jung-woo & In-kyung at all.

 The Mi-ryung ep. ended the eve. the same way. Choose the behavior, suffer the consequences? Not even! When will these writers stop w/that deceitful theme? Let's rewrite the script and give them some options because apparently they've run out of ideas ! I'll give it some thought. Maybe we need minorityreport's help on this one. Creidesca, your postings are fabulous.
