Suggestions for New Forums
Hey all, I just wanted to make a quick request for some new forums. I think it would be better if there was a General Discussion forum, where we get together and just talk about general stuff.
Also, the Chinese Drama board should be broken up. All the Mainland Chinese and Hong Kong dramas should stay in the C-Drama forum, but since Taiwanese dramas are largely different, I say there be a T-Drama board, for Taiwanese dramas.
That's all.

Re: Suggestions for New Forums
I'd like that "General Discussion" forum, myself. I know I can talk about anything anywhere, especially on the several other boards I visit, but I've come to respect the opinions of everyone here. Plus where else are we going to talk about "Hey!Hey!Hey!" and "3-minute Cooking"?
Dunno about that "T-Drama" forum, though. There's not enough action in the current C-Drama forum to split it up... Plus "CJK" is such a stock phrase already... Do we dare introduce a "T" into the acronym!?

Re: Suggestions for New Forums
Yeah, at the Pokemon message board we used to mod, there was a section for Misc. Discussion, where we can discuss whatever comes to mind.
Yeah, you're right TL. The Chinese drama forum is just dry, its the least active forum on the entire message board, and there is the special CJK acronym, so let's just cancel that. But a General Discussion would be cool.
LOL, I do love 3 Minute Cooking.

Re: Suggestions for New Forums
A General Discussion forum has been added =P
as for the Chinese drama forum being lifeless, well there hasn't been a good one airing on TV (or one I'm watching at least)
would it be okay if I were to discuss a drama that hasn't been aired on TV, but maybe released at the video rental stores (in either cantonese, mandarin, or a language in which the chinese drama has been dubbed to)?

Thanks cridesca!
Of course, I mean, this is a drama board isn't it, so it doesn't matter if we were to discuss a drama that aired in 1970 or in 2003.

Re: Suggestions for New Forums
I would love it if we discussed dramas that aren't airing on TV here. I've recently started shopping around for J-dramas and C-dramas because I'd like to see a lot more than just the limited amount of dramas aired in So Cal. Not only would I like to discuss dramas I find, but I'd also love to read about good dramas the rest of you have discovered, so I can add them to my "must see" list.

Re: Suggestions for New Forums
Yes, and if you guys do want to discuss a drama that is not currently airing on TV, and let's say its a Chinese drama, no need to post it in GD or here. Just post it in its respective forum, in this case, the C-Drama forum. Those forums are not limited to current dramas.
When more people discover here, and when we become bigger, there may even need to be more forums opened. Trust me, I've been with my Pokemon message board since the beginning. We started with 3 forums, at the end we had 21.
