Hot Topics List
I replaced the warning about using spoiler boxes in the upper right corner with a link to a new hot topics list feature. It lists, in order, topics which have been viewed at least twenty times within the past seven days.

Korean dramas have been getting a lot more page views since the creation of this board than either Japanese or Chinese/Taiwanese dramas. It's also interesting to see that the top viewed Chinese drama is in 11th place.Korean dramas are certainly dominant, no question. If you look at the stats for all Runboards using my add-ons, you'll see that, although the most viewed Runboard gets far more pageviews than we do, our 어여쁜 당신 (My Sweetheart, My Darling) and 내 이름은 김삼순 (My Lovely Samsoon/My Name Is Kim Sam Soon) topics are likely the most viewed topics on Runboard.
But keep in mind that 파리의 연인 (巴黎戀人/Des amoureux à Paris/Romance in Paris/Lovers in Paris) is being shown in Chinese (and Korean on SAP) and shows up on the hot topics list three times. If its pageviews were totalled instead of being split amongst three topics, it would be in the #4 spot, well ahead of 부활 (Rebirth/Resurrection) and バツ彼 Second Time Around (One Boyfriend Down/Batsu Kare).
Also, take the rankings with a grain of salt right now because they don't show a full week's worth of data, and TV program topics get viewed a lot more just after the days on which they are aired. After Tuesday, the hot topics page will show a full week's worth of pageviews, and shows should no longer move up/down in the rankings just because of what day of the week they are shown.
It's also interesting to see that although no one's but me has been posting to the in-Chinese area, the top topic there, 韓國連續劇:러브스토리 인 하버드 (愛在哈佛/Love Story in Harvard) has far more pageviews than our most viewed anime topic, .hack//黄昏の腕輪伝説 (.hack//Legend of the Twilight [Bracelet]). Also interesting is that the top Chinese section topic, Love Story in Harvard, hasn't been aired in California. I created the topic to see how well a topic about a currently popular Chinese video store rental would do.

Well, since Chinese dramas are very limited in comparison to the amount of Korean dramas that air, it's no wonder that most new members would head towards the K-Drama section.Well, there are more Korean dramas on KSCI and KXLA, which are the major stations most members of the board get. But if you count KTSF in Northern California and all the cable and satellite channels available in California listed in the TV Schedules topic, you'll see there are far, far more dramas in Chinese than anything else.
