Re:
Maybe it was that one... A Thousand Days Promise? I think that's the one where the husband stuck by his wife and cared for her during her pitiful spiral into dementia. There was a good movie about the same topic called A Moment In Time.. something like that.
What really gets me about Song is that she really thinks Sunsin can walk out on the only family she's known because now she has her bio mom back? Song is terribly self centered and unrealistic. Think she may be 'off' a bit.

Wwell it takes at least three experts in each field to get that effect. Plus she does have good bone structure and she walks like a model. To think I was once just like that.....SIGH.:-)
Little dabs of powder,
Little touch of paint,'Make a little lady

Re:
I don't know the character's names by the actor's name so sometimes I become confused with some of the comments. I don't really care for this show except for the secondary relationship between the middle sister and the young doctor. It's the only relationship that rings true for me. When will the Korean programs stop casting successful singers who cannot act? I guess her name in IU, but she should stick to singing and forget acting. She is almost expressionless except when she smiles.
Mostly, the premise of the story is very trite and over done. Many times, there are lines in the script making fun of the repetitive themes of Korean shows.

Re:
Once again KBS has gone to black. No programmes being shown. this is not the only channel that is dark tonight. I have no idea why this happens and sometimes I have found a switch to another channel and then back will open things up. Not tonight. It seems to be coming from the transmitter and it is not Cox cable down here in S.Cal. very annoying and I wish they would fix it. Are there any strange things happening out in space. Maybe storms on the sun etc? Hope they find out soon.

Re:
I am watching this series on a streaming site, can't deal with the crazy COX/Korean scheduling: Starting earlier than posted time, ending later than posted time, trying to record episodes is too trying.

I have Time Warner, and this period on Sat-Sun has never started and finished on time. The start can vary by 10-15 min depending on the lead in programming.

Are Grandmas Always So Bad In Kdramas?
I swear, Sunshin's grandma is such a witch! First, she can't wait to kick Sunshin out and then she's gets so mad when she stays in Miryeong's house. As well, she blames Sunshin for all their problems. The same theme is being played out in "A Tale of Two Sisters"
Is this normal? If I were Sunshin I'd tell her granny to shut up! Except for her mom, I really don't know why she would even have an attachment to that family.

Re:
For me the grandma 'witch' is the rival of the 'birth mother witch'. I can't understand why Sunshin would leave her only known family and go and live in the actress' fancy home. she has no love for that woman and in fact is almost aware of how unpleasant her actions are most of the time. Her only family that she still loves is where she should have stayed. It is being shown very clearly how devious the show business is in Korea ( and probably everywhere). Too many actors and not enough roles means that there is always dirty work at the crossroad. the smiles we see are there because they have all been trained to show the best side in public.
Behind the scenes there is very little innocence I think.

Re:
I saw Suky massaging another girl's feet and brought me right back to BB. He even told the girl he's good at it. Of course he is. He practiced on Jongnam first.
The other actress, the one who calls Miryeong Mom, is so jealous right now. I'm liking it and at the same time starting to feel for her. Think she'll wind up with restaurant owner? I hope not. I really, really like this guy. You know how at the end of these dramas everyone is either paired up like Noah's ark, or going to study in the U.S. We'll see.

Jongnam and Suky forever!!!!!
